At Grief Garden, we believe healing is possible when children are nurtured with compassion, creativity, and community. We are a nonprofit organization located in Jacksonville, Fl. Dedicated to supporting the tender hearts of children facing life’s hardest goodbyes — from the loss of parents, loved ones, friends and cherished pets, to the quiet ache of separation through foster care, military deployment, incarceration, or unforeseen life circumstances. In every kind of parting, we plant seeds of hope, cultivate connection, and create spaces where healing can take root. With gentle guidance and creative tools, we help young souls grow through grief — not around it — and bloom in the light of love that remains.

Our mission is to create a safe space where children can heal from loss, discover their inner strength, and gain the tools needed to thrive. Through nature-based healing, expressive arts, and compassionate community programming, we cultivate spaces to empower youth to grow, remember, and rebuild.
